We are currently re-developing our website to include more around the health issues that affect us as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people, so watch this space.
The SHAG project is our sexual health outreach project and aims to respond to the sexual health needs of our community. It aims to be -
informative,
peer and volunteer led and
address some of the health concerns we all have
We do outreach mainly in gay venues - pubs, clubs and groups.
The SHAG team also run workshops, training courses and awareness stalls at community events in and out of Derby.
So what's good about SHAG?
It's fun
It works with people not against people
We don't tell people off - cos it doesn't work and it's rude!
But we are there so that LGB&T people get the best and equal service around health
